The poem consists of six verses. The first four contain six lines
each; the sixth has seven lines, and the last five lines.
Verse one introduces the idea of the personas retum to his
homeland. Verses two to four inform us about the places he has travelled
and lived outside his homeland. They also present his feelings about
these places. The last two verses develop the focus on his return home by
describing what itis like and, coming after verse four, revealing that the
return is through his imagination rather than a real/actual physical return.
