Which goals do I have for this trimester to improve my

teaching competence?

1. a guide for workshop instructors as they design

professional development experiences for in service
teachers.

2. a self -assessment guide for teachers in identifying

their needs for professional development in student
assessment.

3. a guide for teacher educators as they design and

approve programs for teacher preparation.

What will I do to reach my goals of improving my

teaching?

Teaching students how to set goals can be divided into

three parts first students set realistic goals then a step-
by-step action plan is developed to help them attain their
goals.

Did I reach my goals? Why? Why not? (At end of week 9

trimester 8)

Each standard that follows is an expectation for

assessment knowledge or skill that a teacher should
possess in order to perform well in the areas described
As a set the standards call on teachers to demonstrate
skill at selecting, developing applying using
communicating and evaluating student assessment
information and student assessment practices A brief
rationale and illustrative behaviors follow each standard.

What do I still need to do to become a good teacher?

Development in the field of teaching and learning and give

students incentives and deliver information to students in
a more easily.
