NANOMEDICINE

What is nano medicine?

Nanotechnology in medicine is emerging area in science and technology, that is
leading us to a new industrial revolution. Nanotechnology is defined as the
development of science and technology at the atomic and molecular levels, for a
fundamental understanding of phenomena and materials in this nanoscale and
create and use structures, devices and systems with new properties and functions
because of its size.

The most interesting of nanotechnology is not the possibility of working with

materials of small dimensions, but radical change often suffering physical and
chemical properties of matter when you work on this scale: electrical conductivity,
color, resistance or elasticity, among other properties, they behave differently than
it does the volumetric material.

In this work they will disclose the history of nanotechnology, some applications of
nanotechnology in medicine as well as some advances that have had so far, for
example capsules surfing the blood to detect diseases, the nanobots, the diagnosis
of cancer early, the cure for AIDS, genetic diseases, among other benefits.
