A Bill to End Chinese Exclusion from Space Cooperation

1. BE IT ENACTED BY CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

2. Section 1: Public Law 113-6, Section 535 of the U.S. Code, which prohibits cooperation
in space between the United States of America and the Peoples Republic of China, be immediately
repealed.
3. Section 2: Cooperation between the United States of America and the Peoples Republic
4. of China will now be allowed in the development, designing, planning, promulgation,
5. implementation, and execution of all future science and technology endeavors regarding
6. space.
7. Section 3: This bill shall be implemented immediately following its passage.
8. Section 4: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Office of
9. Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) shall oversee the implementation of this bill.
10. Section 5: All laws and portions of laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby
11. declared null and void.

A Bill to End Signature Strikes by Drones to

Decrease Civilian Casualties
1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
2. SECTION 1. All signature strikes by United States military drones are hereby
3. eliminated.
4. SECTION 2. Signature drone strikes are defined as drone strikes targeting individuals
5. based on patterns of suspicious behavior, rather than intelligence
6. implicating their targets to be known terrorist leaders.
7. SECTION 3. The Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency will
8. enforce and oversee these provisions.
9. SECTION 4. This legislation will go into effect immediately upon passage.
10. SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
 A Resolution to Establish an Embassy in Iran
1 WHEREAS, The United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran have not had official
2 foreign relations since 1980; and
3 WHEREAS, The lack of cooperation with Iran has contributed to military
4 complications in the Middle East; and
5 WHEREAS, Iran would be useful as an ally to the United States in combating terrorist
6 groups in the Middle East; and
7 WHEREAS, An embassy would allow better, more meaningful relations with Iran; and
8 WHEREAS, An embassy would play a large part in protecting U.S. citizens and U.S.
9 non-government organizations in Iran; therefore, be it
10 RESOLVED, That the Congress here assembled make the recommendation to the
11 Department of State to enter negotiations to establish an embassy in
12 Tehran and to extend an invitation to Iran to establish an embassy in
13. Washington, D.C.

A Bill to Legalize the Right to Try Medication

1. BE IT ENACTED BY CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
2. Section 1: Terminally ill patients have the right to try medication that has passed the first
3. clinical trial stage.
4. Section 2: The first clinical trial stage is defined as the stage at which the Food and Drug
5. Administration (FDA) has determined that a medication does not harm a patient, not
6. whether or not it is an effective cure. Terminally ill patients are those who have been
7. diagnosed by a medical professional with a disease, causing them to have a life
8. expectancy of six months. Trying is defined as filing a request to receive a medication
9. that must be upheld by the FDA and is then left to the discretion of the entity producing
10. the drug.
11. Section 3: This bill will go into effect June 1, 2017.
12. Section 4: Implementation of this bill will be overseen by the United States Department
13. of Health and Human Services.
14. Section 5: All laws and portions of laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby
15. declared null and void.

A Bill to Eliminate Federal Funding for Charter Schools

1 BE IT ENACTED BY THE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
2 Section 1. Federal funding for charter schools is hereby terminated.
3 Section 2. Charter schools are schools that receive government funding but operate
4 independently of the established public school system in which they are located, and in some
5 cases are privately owned.
6 Section 3. The Department of Education will oversee implementation.
7 Section 4. This legislation shall go into effect July 1, 2017.
8 Section 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
 A Resolution to Increase Nuclear Power Use in the U.S.
1 WHEREAS, Sufficient energy resources are a priority for every nation; and
2 WHEREAS, U.S. dependency on fossil fuels has caused volatility in the energy producing
3 regions of the U.S. and around the world; and
4 WHEREAS, U.S. foreign policy has been negatively impacted by the energy demands of the
5 developed nations and foreign governments who have used their energy
6 resources as leverage; and
7 WHEREAS, Alternatives to fossil-fuel based energy sources should be prioritized and
8 incentivized over coal and oil; and
9 WHEREAS, Many U.S. cities suffer in high-peak energy usage times of day from brownouts
10 and blackouts; and
11 WHEREAS, Nuclear energy is the cleanest, safest, most high-producing kilowatt energy
12 alternative that is available; and
13 WHEREAS, The U.S. has not only made nuclear power expensive to pursue through
14 regulations but also has dis-incentivized nuclear power investors through
15 bureaucratic measures to make new nuclear power plant construction almost
16 impossible; now, therefore, be it
17 complications in the By the Congress here assembled that the U.S. subsidize investment in the
18 research, development, and construction of at least 10 new nuclear power
19 plants by 2025.
