Dear Ms. Lisa SOMETHING,

I am writing to express my high interest in obtaining an RN position at

Winchester Medical Center. I am graduating May 2017 with my BSN
from Eleanor Custer Wade School of Nursing within Shenandoah
University. I have a high interest in NICU and Labor and Delivery units,
but am not limiting myself to these positions. I am currently
completing my senior practicum on the Mother/Baby unit at Winchester
Medical Center and I am enjoying my experiences within the Valley
Health system. I believe that the mission and values of the hospital
correlate in a positive manner with my own missions as a new
registered nurse.

While at Shenandoah University I engulfed myself not only in studies,

but also in other organizations. I worked for three consecutive years for
the Department of Residence Life, where I learned valuable leadership
skills in a team environment. I was an active member in Student
Nurses Association and held the position of Historian for my last three
semesters. These additional responsibilities have shaped me into the
confident and strong leader I am today.

My connection with Shenandoah University has allowed me to work

primarily at Winchester Medical Center for my multiple of clinical
experiences. Winchester Medical Center has provided the Winchester
community with a wonderful facility, and incredible staff of experts who
have made a large impact on my own education. I eagerly pursue my
first RN job in such a welcoming environment.
