1. The student will learn how to play Dm, G7, and C on the Ukulele.

2. MII.14 The student will perform simple rhythmic and melodic examples in
call-and-response styles.
a. This is will go with the strumming pattern!

4. The Process
a. Begin playing part of the song
b. Introduce the chords
i. The chords we will be learning today are Dm, G7, and C. Once you have
these chords down, you have the entire song!
c. Teach the rhythm of the chords in the song.
i. In specific sections you hold the chord out longer than others. Make sure
that they understand this!
ii. Do call and response here!
1. Now, you try!
d. Play the first verse with them.
e. Play the chorus with them.
f. Play the bridge with them.
g. Make sure to put up chords on the screen!
5. Have a few friends try out the tutorial and ask them how it was! Invite them to make their
own recording of the song and post it (even tag me in it!). Ask for feedback in the
comment section!
6. Upload it on vimeo and other video sharers. Share the link on fb. Make it into a DVD to
hand out!
