Dear Sir or Madam,

It is with great pleasure that I recommend Ms. Katrena Grantham for a social studies position.
Ms. Grantham has been a student teacher in my 7th and 8th grade social studies classroom for
the past six weeks. During this time she has proved herself to be a very knowledgeable and
professional educator. Miss Grantham plans and executes lessons very well. She does a fine
job of differentiating the content to meet the needs of all students, not just those who are
identified as special needs or gifted. Ms. Grantham has also attended all professional meetings
within our district. She collaborates well with the other teachers and did a good job of extending
information across many areas of curriculum. Katrena is always prompt and mindful of time
constraints. She has a good rapport with the students and other teachers.

Miss Grantham would certainly be an asset to any social studies position and district.
