April 16,2016 ‘To whom it may concer, Katrina was present in my classroom forthe first six weeks of er internship for ‘Muskingum University. She observed, co-taught, taught, created lessons and units, graded student work, managed the class on her own, and worked one-on-one with individual students, ‘Katrina worked very hard to find new and creative ways to teach the content and keep the students engaged. She is very good at recognizing when the students don’t understand the concept and isnot afraid to go back and reteach instead of pushing forward. ‘Katrina is not affaid of constructive criticism. She is always asking questions to leam ‘more about the students. She works hard a trying to differentiate for ALL the students and is ‘constantly trying to come up with different ways to reach all students on all levels. She gave me her assessments fo look over tobe sure there were “depth of knowledge” questions on all levels, She tres to come up with different, yet similar activities for lower level students, as well as, higher level students, that will challenge all students Overall, Katrina would be a wonderful asset to any schoo! district.
