Mini extended essay (geography)

Research question - To what extent has migration, based on


last residence, impacted the growth rate of population in the
states of selected states of South and central India- Madhya
Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil nadu and Andhra Pradesh
since 2011.
Introduction-

Migration (human migration) is the movement of people either


within a country or between countries, which can be either
voluntary or forced. It usually means change of home either
temporarily /seasonal/ daily movements or permanent.1 People
migrate in search for economic, personal, and educational
purposes. Migration takes place because of several push factors
like poor paid jobs, the minerals are running off, bad climate

Aim- Is to investigate as to what extent has the population of India


being impacted due to migration in the states namely Madhya
Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
