of society and the same is likely to be attended by almost all the residents of Nanganallur
roughly 10,000 persons. More than the rituals the very purpose of the function is to honor 108
poor and down trodden women with saris as a mark of Devis blessing on the occasion of
Navarathri. This is unique function such of this kind in this area, where poor women
irrespective of caste are going to be honored. As it is for a noble cause and a rare public
