To Whom It May Concern:

I am happy to write a letter of recommendation for Mr. Frank Newsome who is a student
at North Branch High School. It was my pleasure teaching him Algebra II and
Precalculus. In addition to his strong academics, I find him to have very high moral and
ethical standards. Frank is also an extremely kind and helpful person.

Frank is a member of the National Honor Society, Drama Club and the high school Band.
With these extracurricular activities he has spent countless hours of his time assisting
staff members, fellow classmates, and serving the community. For the past two years,
Frank has volunteered for the local and school blood drive. Frank has never complained
when it comes to helping others. His kindness and sense of humor make doing any task
seem effortless. He manages to succeed at this through his personality, compassion for
others, sense of humor and his strive for perfection to do well in any of his endeavors.

Frank has always had a strong academic discipline. He is self-motivated and understands
the importance of receiving a good education. Frank has maintained an impressive 4.0
grade point average. He has been preparing himself for his future and inevitable success
in college. It is clearly evident that Frank exhibits a great deal of maturity and
responsibility in the execution of his studies. Franks thirst for knowledge is unsurpassed.
He is always conscientious about his work in my class and always achieves a high level
of excellence in his academics.

My obligation to my students and their parents is to give an honest assessment to their

situations. I know Franks performance in college will reflect upon his past years of hard
work and dedication to his studies. I give this recommendation for Frank Newsome with
the sincere belief that he will be successful in college and in life. Frank is worthy of any
scholarship that is available. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
