Responsibilities To make necessary enhancement in the SAP user-exit
EXIT_SAPLELHR_001, which is called during meter reading extrapolation.
The objective was to ensure that the extrapolated consumption and
extrapolated meter readings are calculated based on meter reading history as
much as possible. The minimum portion for calculating the representative
period for extrapolation needed to be determined dynamically in such a way
that for MR estimation, meter reading histories are utilized to the maximum
extent possible.

The aim was to provide the new/enhanced functionality to SW without
impacting their existing processes/functionalities. Attended workshops and
worked on preparation of High Level Design Document and feasibility study.

identification and differentiation in the SAP CIS system between meter
devices and meter-instrument combinations.

business-critical custom program.
3) To analyze the MVRS upload errors which comes daily during the meter
read upload program.
4) Analysis of the trends of implausible MRs read during a particular period
of time.
5) Comparative analysis of the count of the implausibles as per the
Independent Validation type, meter read reason area wise, portion wise and
MRU wise. Majority of implausibles were due to supplier switches which
were corrected manually and analyzing the workflow program for correction
of implausible meter reads which should have triggered but did not.

and also to liaise with offshore regarding the development of these defects.

3) To continuously monitor the device batch jobs (e.g. MR order creation,
MR order download and MR upload). In case of any issues or failure in these
jobs, solution /work around are to be discussed with business on urgent basis
and also to analyse the impact of failure.
4) After deployment of any new project, system performance and all other
main processes need to be checked functionally and technically before
handing it over to business and users.
5) Continuous help to business people by explaining different Device-related
business queries.
