Air Dry Clay Recipe

2 C. Cornstarch

2 C. Baking Soda

1 C. Cold Water

Food Dye, if desired

Mix Baking Soda and Cornstarch in a pan over medium heat while slowing adding
the cold water, stirring to avoid lumps. Continue to stir constantly and cook until
thickened. Dump mixture out on a platter and cover with a damp towel. Kneading
can be done while clay is warm or cool. Knead until smooth, adding color dye, if
desired. Clay is baked until hardened in a regular oven and can be painted with
acrylic paints when cool.
