From the time He was born, Jesus continued to grow. When Jesus was 12 years
old, His family traveled to Jerusalem. It was a special holiday when all the
people would go to the Temple, or church, to worship and celebrate. Jesus
WHOLE family packed up and went to the Temple in Jerusalem.

After one week of having fun in Jerusalem, Jesus family started going home.
They had been walking and talking when they suddenly noticed that Jesus was
MISSING!

The family stopped and looked everywhere for Jesus, but they couldnt find Him
anywhere. So Mary and Joseph went back to Jerusalem to look for Jesus. After
looking in shops and restaurants around Jerusalem for three whole days, Mary
and Joseph finally found Jesus in the Temple!

Jesus was talking to the Temple leaders. He wasnt afraid or sad. He was telling
them about God! As Jesus grew, God made Him more and more wise!
