character. Three reasons to this is he used to not like Hector but learned to like him,
also he was a bad kid but then turned nice, finally he used to not like rural areas but
RIcky learned to like the outdoors.. Ricky used to not like the outdoors and rural
areas. But when he was told he had to leave because the farm was an unsuitable
environment for him because Bella died he ran away into the woods with his dog Tupac.
Since Ricky didnt know the area he got lost and Hector came and found him. Then
Ricky and Hector were on the news because the child services people thought Hector
had kidnapped Ricky. They were runaways for 4-6 months before they got caught. This
example shows that Ricky used to not like rural areas but started to enjoy them because
Ricky would rather run away and get lost in the woods then to go back to the city.
In addition Ricky used to not like Hector but learned to like him. In the beginning
on Rickys birthday Hector didnt sing to Ricky and ignored him or didnt respond to him
but when Ricky ran away Hector came looking for him and helped him survive. The fact
that Hector came looking for him made Ricky appreciate Hector because he didnt let
Ricky die in the woods. Also Hector started talking to Ricky and Ricky taught Hector
how to read.
Lastly Ricky was a bad kid then turned good. Before Ricky went to live on the
farm he would graffiti and break things so they had Ricky go live in the woods where
there wasnt many people around and if he didnt he would go to juvie. Because Ricky
didnt want to go to juvie he started behaving better and wanted to get involved in
things. He also ran away and saved a diabetic ranger but was still being chased.
In the movie Hunt for the Wilderpeople the character Ricky Baker shows people can
change in many different ways. So in conclusion Ricky Baker is not a dynamic character
