So,lets try this again - third time lucky or lucky, lucky as it may
be! HUGE thanks for your patience. Here we go, and IN FULL!
The favourite Abbey Road changed three times over the last week,
but it was Flower who shone through in the end. Good to see Finer
Feelings and Never Too Late up as your Top 3 too.
Your Big 3 were If I Cant Have You, Black Or White, and Your Body,
with the latter two giving each other a big run for their money to be
second favourite. The second EP was easily your most preferred out
of the two.

THE NEXT 5 - Butterfly (Sandstorm Mix), Love At First Sight (Ruff &
Jam Mix), Every Day's Like Christmas (A Stock Aitken Waterman
Remix), What Do I Have To Do? (7" Mix), Skirt (Switch Remix)
One of the most divisive topics for Kylie fans over the years has
always been what kind of remixes she should have, and it would
appear that, on average, when Kylie gets the more leftfield remix
treatment & when its done well, we would take that over
something more commercial with 4 out of the Top 5 Remixes being
her most credible ones! Arguably, you could also consider
CGBMOOMH credible too, but given that Blue Monday turned into a
Pop hit originally and the mix was played in Pop clubs, despite it
being a cool thing to do, it was ultimately a pop remix - a brilliant
one at that. Interestingly, 7th Heaven, who have remixed Kylie more
than any other production team, do not feature in your Top 15, and
surprisingly, given the noise for it to be released originally, the
infamous Get Out Of My Way Remix did not appear as one of your
favourites either. There were a lot of remixes to choose from in this
category however, so unfortunately 7H may have just have fallen
victim to amount of choice.
There was ever only really going to be one winner here. Skirt was
Kylies biggest Buzz single, as well as being one of her most bold
tracks to date, it had 60 more votes than its nearest challengers
White Diamond & Crystallize. The latter had been in second place
all week and it was only yesterday that White Diamond overtook it
to come second.
THE NEXT 5 - If I Can't Have You, Your Body, Devotion, If You Were
With Me Now, Only You
The top two in this category were having a huge fight all week to
become favourite, but I don't believe many of us can argue with the
eventual winner. WTWRG is one of Kylies finest ever moments, and
64% of you who voted in this category agreed. With rumours
circulating of a heritage style collab for the next album, this result
should be taken into account as what the fans would really like.
THE NEXT 5 - Ocean Blue, Things Can Only Get Better, Love Takes
Over Me, Do It Again, Nothing Can Stop Us
It was a big battle between the two Light Years tracks, Light Years &
Disco Down, for favourite Album Only track, and Light Years bagged
it! Maybe Kylie knows us better than we think working with Biffco
again for the new album?! Like A Drug is your favourite track from
X, Dreams your favourite from Impossible Princess, Dangerous
Game from KM94, Love Affair from Fever, Loving Days from Body
Language, Aphrodite from Aphrodite, and Enjoy Yourself
from.Enjoy Yourself! Unfortunately I do not have any data beyond
a top 15 to see which was your favourite from Kylie & Lets Get To It.
Maybe thats for another poll in the future.
Biggest surprise though, is that KMO that has more tracks in the Top
10 than any other album, and not the albums biggest non-single
streamer, Million Miles, or fan favourite Mr President, which were
nowhere in the Top 15. Kiss Me Once, Les Sex, and Feels So Good
had the album's most votes to make the Top 10. Feels So Good is
also the only track never to be performed live, so this should maybe
one to add to the next tour setlist. Another huge surprise was
another big fan favourite, Closer from Aphrodite, not being in the
Top 15 either, despite it being the albums biggest non-single
streamer after the title track. Tough category!
This was the toughest category for most I would imagine, and it was
Confide In Me that had the most votes to be your favourite Kylie
single! Revealingly, tour standards such as Spinning Around,
Locomotion, I Should Be So Lucky, Wow, & Celebration did not
feature in your Top 15, further confirming that maybe some of these
could be rested in favour of other tracks, possibly less performed
favourite album tracks in future. BTDYK is your favourite PWL single
followed by WDIHTD. Surprisingly, Shocked was not in your Top 15.
Biggest shock of all though was how hardly anyone voted for I Was
Gonna Cancel or Better Than Today ;)
Overall, its also worth noting that 5 out of the 9 winners were co-
written by Kylie.
So there you have it! The results of the first ever Say Hey Ultimate
Kylie Poll! Over 600 fans have spoken! Would love to hear all your
thoughts!
