Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an A-level student studying Media at Alperton Community
School and I am writing to ask for permission in using the song,
Better Man by the artist Leon Bridges.
I am intending to use this song to create another music video. I
know the song is currently owned by the subsidiary company,
Columbia Records. As all rights to the music video is yours. I would
like to request to use the entire song for my music video.
The song will only be intended to use for educational purposes and
will be heard by my media class as well as by the examiners at OCR.
This means that the music video itself would not be harmful to the
reputation of your company by being used commercially and/or
being used to gain profit.
In receiving your permission, your company would be full recognised
throughout the pre-production and the final stage of the music
video. It would be best to receive a reply from you within 2 weeks.
Without a response stating that we cannot use the music video, we
will continue with the production of the music video.
