This chord progression manual has a separate section for each popular key, Any song in a chosen key can be harmonized effectively with the chords shown, Occasionally, only part of a progression may be used. For example, out of the progression C - C7 - F - Fm - G, only the section C - C7 - F, or F - Fm -C. or C7 - F - Fm, etc, need be used, All instrumentalists, trying to develop a tecbnique in ‘‘ad lib" playing will find this manual exceptionally useful. It is possible to improvise modern jazz passages on every chord progression shown here.
