Reflection to Domain 3

I feel like I touched upon every aspect of the domain. I think that I have great

communication skills when it comes to the rapport that I have made with my

students. I try to assess the students formatively and summatively every day so

that I can see where they are in their learning process and if they are meeting the

goals that I am setting for them in each lesson. It is important to me for students to

always be actively engaged. In the beginning of my student teaching experience I

defiantly did not engage students in questioning where they would do most of the

discussion in student lead discussion. I have moved away from this and allowed the

students to take lead in the discussion whether it is a whole class discussion or in

groups. I do not want to be just talking at my students, so they are more engaged.

This particular lesson went well in my opinion. I really enjoy using different

activities like different media in my lessons. I feel like if students have different

activities to switch from, it makes it easier for them to stay engaged. This lesson

did have at technical glitch when I gave it where the projector was not working as

well as it should and the video was spotty. We got that fixed right away and were

able to move some activities around in order to get this fixed.
