STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE
PROCESS FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATION FORM FOR ITI ADMISSION

01. Information Broacher Part 1 Admission Rules and Process is available in all Government and
Private ITI from 5th June 2015. (for Rs. 30 only). Candidate and their Parents should read
Information Broacher carefully before filling up online admission form.

02. Visit http://admission.dvet.gov.in website. Following Home Page shall be displayed:

03. If candidate is a new user i.e. candidate has not yet created Admission Account then click New
Candidate Registration and if you have already registered and want to complete/ edit Application
Form or complete further Admission Rounds then click Registered Candidate Login and then to
complete/ edit Application Form click Application Form after login to Admission Account

04. Enter the security code (captcha) and click Continue:

05. Enter all Personal Details:

All the information regarding admission process shall be communicated on Primary Mobile
Number hence candidate should provide their Permanent Mobile Number and should not change
this number till the admission process is over.
Click Register to continue.

06. Following page shal be displayed:

Candidate has to create Password for the Admission Account. The Password must be 8 to 20
characters containing at least One Upper Case, One Lower Case, One Number and One Special
Character (@,#,$,%) e.g. Password@123
Candidate should create password which can be easily remembered as Name@BirthYear e.g.
Ashish@2000
Click Edit to Edit Personal Information or click Confirm Registration to continue.

07. Following page shall be displayed:

Note down the Registration Number and Password. Candidate has to login using their Registration
Number and Password for all further admission processes.

08. Complete Address Details in following page:

Click Save and Continue to go to next page.

09. If Candidate is an Orphan then enter details by selecting Yes option. If candidate is not an
Orphan then click No and enter parent details.

10. If Candidate is not Orphan then submit Father and Mother Details in following page section:

Submit Father and Mothers Occupation details and domicile details carefully since this is linked
with Home Taluka selection criteria.

11. If candidate belongs to Defense Category then select Yes option and select Defense Category
else select No option:

12. Candidate belonging to Person with Disability Category should select Yes option and submit
details else select No option:

13. Complete following details for Extra Curricular Activities.

14. Candidate who has been admitted in any ITI previously should select Yes option and submit
details else select No option:

16. Submit details regarding type of School from where the candidate has appeared for Std 10th (SSC)
Examination:

If candidate has appeared for Std 10th (SSC) Examination from National Open School/ Blind School/
Handicap School then they shall enter only Total Marks i.e. they are not allowed to enter subject
wise marks.

17. Submit the Subject wise marks details:


Candidate has to mention whether at the time of Application candidate has Passed SSC
Examination or has Failed in SSC Examination and whether they have taken Technical Subject at
Std 10th (SSC) Examination.
a. Candidate who has Passed SSC Examination from school other than National Open School/
Blind School/ Handicap School are eligible to apply for All Trades
b. Candidate who has Failed SSC Examination from school other than National Open School/Blind
School/ Handicap School are eligibile to apply for only Trades with Eligibility SSC Pass/Fail.
c. Candidates who have appeared from National Open School/ Blind School/ Handicap School are
eligible to apply to only Non Engineering Trades

If candidate has not appeared for any subject mentioned in the Subject list, then the candidate has
to enter 0 (Zero) marks in both Out of Marks and Obtained Marks.
As per the information submitted by candidate previously the eligible weightage is reflected in
table Additional Weightage. Maximum 50 Marks of Additional Weightage gets added to total
obtained marks and the Total Percentage is calculated likewise

18. Based on the information submitted by candidate the Home Taluka Options are provided in the
following page. Candidate has to select 1 Home Taluka from the available eligible Home Taluka
options.
70% seats of all ITI in the Taluka shall be reserved for the Candidate who has declared that Taluka
as their Home Taluka.

19. After submitting all required information, following page will be displayed.

After
carefully reading the undertaking and candidate having accepted all conditions click Accept

20. Following Page shall be displayed. Candidate has to read all the Instructions carefully:

21. Following Application Form Print out shall be generated:

22. After submitting the form and taking Print Out the form is provisionaly submitted. To confirm application
form:
a) Print Application Form and verify that all information is correct and complete
b) Visit nearest any Government or Private ITI
c) Candidate shall produce the Print out of the Application Form and all the Required Original Documents
as per Annexure 3 of Information Broacher to substantiate claim in the Application Form
d) Candidate has to submit 1 Set of Photo copies of all Required Documents as per Annexure 3 of the
Information Broacher and Applicable Form Fees in cash.
e) The ITI Admission Incharge shall verify and scrutinize the Online filled Application with Online Printed
Copy of Application Form and Original Documents produced by Candidate and after Verification shall
confirm the Application form of the candidate and shall issue the Receipt cum Acknowledgement
of confirmation of Application Form.
f) Candidate can make changes/ edit application form any number of times before confirming Application
Form. However after confirmation of Application Form candidate cannot make any changes.
23. Only Confirmed applications will be considered for all Admission Rounds. Unconfirmed Applications will be
treated as Applications not received.
24. Candidate shall fill & submit only One Online Application form which shall be applicable for admission to any
CTS Trade in all Government and Private ITI for the Seats available through CAP and institute level seats at
Private ITI.
25. Candidates Filling/ Confirming more than One Application will be treated as Duplicate Forms and shall be
rejected without any communication to the candidates and such candidates will be debarred from the CAP.
26. All Admission related Information and also information after Admission to ITI/ Examination, etc shall be sent
through SMS on PRIMARY MOBILE NUMBER and hence PRIMARY MOBILE NUMBER should be active
throughout Admission Process and thereafter. Hence Permanent Mobile Number should be entered as
PRIMARY MOBILE NUMBER
27. Candidates have to submit Option Form (ITI wise and Trade wise Options and Preferences) for each
Admission Rounds. Options Form for First Admission Round shall be available after Grievance Round. Kindly
refer Admission Schedule for submitting Round wise Option Form. If any candidate does not fill up option
form for the next Admission Round then the options submitted (if submitted) for previous round shall be
considered for next admission rounds.
28. All the admissions in Government and Private ITI in the State are done through Centralized Online Admission
Process. It is mandatory to submit Online Application Form for admission against all seats available for
Centralized Admission Process and Institute Level Seats. It is mandatory to submit Online Application Form
for all admission against Institute Level Seats at Private ITI (Trade wise 20% Seats) and Vacant Seats available
after 5th Round (Counselling Round) at Private ITI. Such application for Institute Level Seats will be available
under Apply for Institute Level seat at Private ITI link on http://admission.gov.in through Registered
Candidate Login from 25th June 2015.
Candidate registering and confirming Application Form for ITI Admission between 05th June 2015 to 25th
June 2015 is only eligible for admission to Seats available under Centralized Admission Process, Institute
Level Seats at Private ITI (Trade wise 20% Seats) and Vacant Seats available after 5th Round (Counselling
Round) at Private ITI.
