Hydroponics is a subset of soilless culture. Many types of soilless culture do not use the mineral nutrient solutions required for hydroponics.Plants that are not traditionally grown in a climate would be possible to grow using a controlled environment system like hydroponics. NASA has also looked to utilize hydroponics in the space program. Ray Wheeler, a plant physiologist at Kennedy Space Center's Space Life Science Lab, believes that hydroponics will create advances within space travel. We Know that healthy peoples are the wealth ofa nation. Asa main food grain, harmful things in rice will affect tousand also to our country. By This Project named “IS RICE HARMFUL TO HEALTH? -A STUDY”, | am trying to find out whether there is anything in rice which is harmful to us. For the fulfillment of this project, | studied in detail about procurement of seeds, paddy cultivation, process of making rice, it’s storage till it’s marketing and tried to find out is there is anything used in each stage which is harmful to our health. The project aims to implement an automatic electronic surveillance system which will help the farmers in utilizing the available water wisely through inattended irrigation of the crop. The system will also protect the crops from wild animals through ultrasonic alarms to drive away the animals and birds. The project makes use of a fencing system which will detect animal presence from the electric charge presenton their bodies and passive infrard sensors that detects birds. Lene
