The University established the UC Health Research Institute in 2015. Excellence in


research is at the core of our vision for the Institute which brings together over 120
academics in; biomedicine, clinical sciences, health technology, health services and
public health. The University is now seeking to appoint world-class researchers to
further build on this initiative.

The successful candidates will possess the following qualities:

outstanding track record in attracting grant funding (in particular category 1


funding)
outstanding track record of publications and citation rates in high impact
factor journals
highly productive international research collaborations;
academic leadership and research mentoring skills;
a strong track record in developing successful collaborations and partnerships
with appropriate funding and professional bodies;
