RAFT Task Card One: History

Objective:
You will be able to articulate the events that lead up to the writing of the Emancipation
Proclamation.

A short one man play
Topic:
A behind the scenes look at the events leading up to the Emancipation Proclamation.

2. Use a storyboard worksheet to map out your script.
3. Type your script so it is easy to read.
4. Practice reading your script aloud until you feel you can read it fluently and with
expression.
5. Create a video of your presentation, include voiceover narration and titles.
6. Upload your video to YouTube. Make sure you choose Public for it to be viewable by
the widest audience.

A music video of a song sung by a band member on the Titanic to the loved ones of those that
were lost.
