Learning
I. Describe the Class

Fifth grade class, 20 students; 2 gifted, 1 L.D., 1 E.L.L.

II. Subject/ Skill

10 Vocabulary words presentations

III. Objective(s)

Students should be able to recall week 20s vocabulary list.

IV. Procedures
Students will be given their week 20 vocabulary list.
Then they will group into their think pair share partners.
The teacher will give the 10 groups their word and definition.
The students will write their word, definition, a picture of the word
to make it easier to remember.
During the presentation the other students will write down the
word and definition given by the other students.

Paper, markers, and elmo

VI. Grouping Structures

Small groups- Think pair share groups. There will be 10 pairs, and
one word each.

VII. Modifications
The two groups the gifted students will be grouped into will get the
two most challenging words.
The L.D. student will be given a separate list of only 5 words, but
will still participate in the group presentations.
The E.L.L student will be given the easiest word in week 20s
vocabulary list.

VIII. Assessment

The students will be assessed on the rubric for vocabulary list
presentations.
