does the HSS Framework integrate and support literacy? This session will introduce participants to the instructional shifts in reading and writing that the new Framework recommends. It will explain how the Common Core State Standards, the ELA/ELD Framework, and the California English language development standards inform discipline-specific reading instruction that occurs in history-social science.
