Discovered: Messianic Graves

Recently some archaeologists were excavating the vaults of

the Italian city sides. In coming upon a house which bared
the family arms, a reflection of a prophecy in the Genesis
story, they began to curiously uncover the suites and halls.
As they dug, they uncovered a beautifully elaborate series of
vaults. After reaching what would naturally appear to be the
end of this mansion of labyrinths, they investigated further.
They discovered a series of paved over rooms that
contained skeletons and decomposing bodies. These
unknown victims of a family guised under a crest of one
who did no wrong where apparently given separate spaces
and left to their natural demise. These vaults became the
dungeons of hell which held them until their judgment day

To Come and Go
A Brief Excerpt from a diary of Olde

Recently, a man came into my life stripping away all that I have
ever taken for granted. After a stormy night, my husband had gone
outside to lug some crabs into the sea, but came running back
shouting for help. I came outside and lo and behold, there was an
object in the mud. A dead deer? A washed up log? Then it moved
slightly. For a few minutes we simply watched the poor creature
struggling in the mud before we realized it was a man. He was as
beautiful as a rotten egg. And he had an apparent deformity, for two
wing-like flaps protruded from his back . To call them wing-like
would be generous however, as they reminded me of the
disproportionately sized hands of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. I jokingly
prodded my husband, "Maybe it's an angel?" And we both laughed.
But those wings.. maybe?
A few weeks later
It has been a sad few weeks. It turned out that the old man we rescued
had been really sick. By sick, I mean REALLY sick. The doctors who
diagnosed him found that he contained every single strand of
incurable disease I have ever heard of. Since the doctors in this
generation don't actually have the ability to cure any sort of virus, his
sickness spread rapidly. Our little baby boy went first. He caught the
black plague and died within a fortnight. A bunch of the townspeople
came to look at the man thinking he was a sickly angel, to find that
the winglike stubs on the mans back were actually mutated bacteria
parasites that had conglomerated into a physical entity. Tuberculosis
and the Ebola Virus made quick work of the villagers. Just a week ago
my husband caught the common flu and couldn't fight through it. To
make it worse, the other day the man simply went missing. I don't
know how I haven't managed to get sick, but no matter. This life has
little left to give me, as everyone I know has left. Tonight is the night.
I will tie rocks and chuck myself into the ocean like those poor crabs.
It's crazy how quickly someone can drop in on your life, and leave
from your life forever, yet leave such a lasting impact.
