Product features
Micropowers CU780 Controllers are designed for control of fan coil units or fan air terminals. The CU780 has a 2 Kw heater
output which can be configured to switched or modulated heating. A number of different sensor configurations can be
connected to the CU780 controller by means of a 2 wire sensor cable. The required actuator for chilled water (proportional)
control is a wax 230 V AC type (2 wire). When 230 V AC is applied to the actuator chilled water must flow through the heat-
exchanger. The fan motor speed is controlled by means of variable voltage control and only motors suitable for variable voltage
control may be used. Minimum fan speed can be adjusted by means of a potentiometer accessed through the top of the casing.
Three speed fan motor control by means of motor tappings is available with the use of an optional relay card.
