The domestication of cats is believed to have started about 5000 years

ago and were sacred to all egyptians.

Cats used to be thought of witch familiars.

So many cats were beheaded in the early times because they were
thought to be witches that had shapeshifted into a cat.

Shorthairs are one of the two fur types of cats.

There are three types of shorthairs the American, the British, and the
foreign.

Shorthairs are usually more common than longhairs. Shorthairs groom

very easily.

Longhairs usually have two or more coats. Longhairs can and usually
do have neck ruffs.

Longhairs are more expensive to buy purebred then shorthairs.

Maine coons and Persians are two of the more common varieties of
longhairs.

The most expensive purebred cat breed is the exotic savannah which
cost around 4000 to 20000 US dollars.

Some cat breeds are bred to love the water.

Feral cats are domestic cats that left their human home or were born in
the wild.

Stray cats are cats that accidentally strayed from their human home.

The Cat Fancier Association or CFA for short are all about cats and
have many cat shows every year.

Cat shows are where you show of purebred cats.

The Norwegian forest cat is my favorite cat breed.
