Declaração Conflito de Interesses
Declaração Conflito de Interesses
Public trust in the peer review process and the credibility of published articles depends in
part on how well conflict of interest is handled during writing, peer review, and the
editorial decision-making process. Conflict of interest exists when an author of a
manuscript or a letter to the editor (or the authors department, division, center, or clinical
practice), a reviewer, or an editor has financial or personal relationships with other
persons or organizations that could inappropriately influence (bias) his or her actions.
Furthermore, any interest that may raise the perception of conflict of interest or bias should
also be considered to represent a potential conflict of interest.
Please return one copy of this form, which should list all authors competing interests. As the
corresponding author you are declaring on behalf of your co-authors and it is your responsibility to
consult them before completing the form.
