Learning Journal Seven

Step Two:
This week, we were introduced to our final project, which is an entire webpage
dedicated to us and our journey as writers. This ePortfolio, will consist of four critical
components that are as follows: Cover Letter, Living Picture Narrative, Wikipedia Entry,
and Podcast. Throughout this course, our professor setup time periods in which the
latter three would be completed in a timely fashion. As of now, we learned about how to
construct the final component of our portfolio, in which consists of our thoughts and
abilities as a writer and how we developed as one throughout the course. In addition,
Professor Zugnoni also gave some personal information regarding revision that pretty
much enlightened, if not all, the majority of the class. Revisions are crucial in perfecting
a piece of writing, but there exist not one perfect piece of writing. Another interesting
activity we participated in that even more blew me away was redesigning a lengthy
block of text with multiple errors of every array to something legible. I hadnt realised all
the technicalities that go into writing nor how to go about and correctly fix them so it was
an intriguing experience to say the least.

Step Three and Four:

For the revision of my Wikipedia Entry, I will be configure and integrate multiple
aspects to further amplify my work. These aspects are that of citations, captions, and
following the structure of the discourse community at hand. Evidently, I had previously
failed to integrate citations among the written information and have been told by my
peers to do so, in which I plan to heed such advice. In addition, I will elaborate more on
the meanings of medical terminology and attempt to break them down in everyday
language. As for the visual candy of my research, I will implement captions so as to
explain what the hell is going on in them.
In my perspective, the best approach to revise my research entry is through that
of the Reverse Outline, so as to identify which areas of my piece lose focus or need
more focus on the subject at hand. In addition, I will identify which main ideas I have
discussed and decide which other aspects of my subject I wish to inform the discourse
community. Plus this approach also helps in determining if the information is fluid.
