An artifact is something that is crafted.

Object: I will make a giant Pokmon card. Or vision/goal boards for class. Or a Christmas tree. I
dont know yet.
Rationale: With the Pokmon thing, the song could be a metaphor. To train them is my call.. In
this sense were training the students on how to develop the skills they need to get a head in life
and school. Vision/goal boards to show aspirations? A metaphor for how teaching means always
resetting goals once you meet them. A christmas tree as a metaphor of how a student or teacher
starts off the year bare, but with every lesson they add something to the tree/themselves. Then at
the end youre all decorated with the things that youve learned.
Outline:
- Introduction (where I was placed, who I am, who is there, the panelists)
- Discussion of my artifact and the metaphor behind it.
- Dialogue of what my experience was like with questions & the sharing of experience
- Maybe some kind of closure activity or something. I don't know.
Media: I was also thinking a video would be something really cool do with the classes. Take
videos throughout the rest of the year and cut it together to make something cool.
