On separate sheets, please enclose the following documents to support your application:
1. A motivation essay of no more than 1000 words, explaining why you need a
scholarship, and what you hope to gain from your studies at Charles University;
2. Two letters of recommendation from teachers, who know you from your previous
studies, including confirmation of your financial need.
Note: these documents are compulsory for all new applicants. Applications which arrived
without these documents will not be considered.
Current scholarship holders do not need to submit the two letters of recommendation or write
the essay. You should include one recommendation letter from a Charles University
academic who knows you from your studies with your application.
Declaration
I hereby apply for one of the available scholarships in academic year 2017/18. I have read
and understood the terms and conditions under which the scholarships are offered. I
understand that funding will not automatically be awarded to scholarship holders for school
year 2018/19. If awarded a scholarship, I agree to fulfil the obligations arising from the terms
and conditions of the scholarship.
