SECTION-A
1. A dice is thrown once, what is the probability of getting odd primes ?

7. Curved surface area of a right circular cylinder is 4.4 m 2 If the radius of the base of the
cylinder is 0.7m, find its height.
8. The mean of the first 8 observations is 18 and last 8 observations is 20. If the mean of all 15
observations is 19, find the 8th observation.
9. 500 persons took dip in a rectangular tank which is 80 m long and 50 'm broad. What is the rise
in the level of water in the tank, if the average displacement of water by a person is 4 m3
10. A cylindrical tube opened at both the sides is made of iron sheet which is 2 cm thick. If
the outer diameter is 16 cm and its length is 100 cm, find how many cubic centimeters of
iron has been used in making the tube ?

various parts of school campus. After a month, plants survived which are planted
