CRYSTAL EARRING DROP

Supplies:
Crystal drop bead with vertical hole
15/0 seed beads
11/0 or 8/0 seed beads

1. When you make your earrings, add either an 8/0 or 11/0 seed bead at the very bottom center of
the earring in the manner of your choice. The size will depend on how heavy or delicate your earring
is and also the size of your drop bead.

2. Go through this bottom seed bead then go through the top hole of your crystal drop bead.

3. Pick up an 11/0 bead and go back up through the drop bead

4. Go back through the seed bead at the top and back through the drop bead and the 11/0 bead at
the bottom once again. Go back up through the drop bead and the top seed bead. Repeat this path
once again to reinforce it. Exit through the top seed bead.

5. Pick up enough 15/0 beads to fit the side of the drop bead. Go around the outside of the crystal
and through the 11/0 bead at the bottom.

TIP: I used 9 seed beads on each side of a 7x5mm drop bead and 13 on each side of a 7x10mm
drop bead.

6. Pick up the same number of 15/0 beads that you used in step 5 and go up and around the other
side of the drop bead and through the seed bead at the top.

7. Go down through the 15/0 beads added in step 5 and through the 11/0 bead at the bottom.

8. Pick up four 15/0 beads and go back around through the 11/0 bead you just exited.
9. Go through the first 15/0 bead you just added. Pick up a 15/0 bead and go through the next 15/0
bead. Repeat this two more times to add a bead between each of the other three 15/0 beads. Weave
back around this little picot once to reinforce it, going through all seven of the 15/0 beads. Exit
through the 11/0 bead below the drop bead.

10. Weave around through all of the 15/0 beads as well as the top and bottom seed beads to
reinforce them then go up into your earring and weave in the thread.
