Abstract
Developing countries including Algeria face a lot of challenges obstructed their developing
and living path, represented in many problems which their societies suffer from, at the forefront of
these problems joblessness , bad living circumstances.... all of it involve one word which is poverty,
especially that most of these countries depend on inappropriate and weak policies. In this regard,
Algeria adopted many policies in many standards we mention for example the financial, the
monetary grade, and employment which is considered a social and economical policy at the same
time as it contributes to the provision of jobs for individuals and from it improving their living
conditions. From what we have mentioned, we can define poverty, it's concept, defending the most
important operating mechanisms in Algeria, and studying and evaluating how far these policies are
effective to reduce poverty during the period (1990-2014).
