I chose these pictures because they represent my identity and my interests in life I will be
describing the pictures and talking about how they affect me.
The World War II plane picture is a my favorite game. It is called War Thunder. I have had it
since last March and have been loving it. You can battle players from around the world in real
historical battles with planes and tanks from the era. You can also play in arcade mode and play
custom battles. You play in historical areas that wars were fought in with planes and tanks from
1939-1953.
The picture of the lake is from my week in Kelowna this summer. We had a house on the side
of a cliff! It had the best view of the city and the lake below us. We were in Kelowna with our
cousins and their dog. There dog is Bernese Mountain dog. Her name is Jasper and she is a
puppy she was only four months old. While we were in Kelowna we went boating, water
skiing, tubing, wake surfing and wakeboarding. We also went downtown to the beach with my
cousins for the day. We went on a water obstacle course set up on the lake. It had a rock
climbing wall, trapeze swing, three trampolines, slides, narrow bridges and more. If you fell off
you would fall into the water where Ogopogo lives! We saw a jet ski propelled jet board that
shot you into the air. My older cousin, Brandon and I watched it for a while. When our parents
picked us up after their wine tour, they had a story to tell. While they were at Mission Hill
winery they saw Justin Trudeau with his wife and her parents having lunch at the table next to
them! From the beach we went and hung out in our pool at the house. This picture was taken
from the balcony. The pool was just down on the grass in the picture. This trip was the highlight
of my summer.
I like reading and learning about WWI and WW II. The picture in the collage with the men in
the trench is from WWI and the picture with the tanks is from WWII. It fascinates me how these
and how they changed the world. The I am Canada series is one of my favorite
wars came to be
series for learning about this. I also like reading about the stories of epic battles and of daring
day time air raids deep in enemy territory where the enemy could be hiding anywhere. I spend
countless hours watching documentaries and building battles with my Lego. This summer a B-17
heavy bomber came to Regina. I went and touerd the inside of the plane. It was awesome to see
it in person. It was big and loud when it flew. I got to see the inside and what it was like to be
part of the crew; where the gunners sat, pilot and co-pilot flew, and the bombardier sat. Last
summer a B-25 medium bomber also came to Regina. The B-17 had 10 crew members and 12-
50 caliber machine guns. The B-25 had 6 crew members and 13- 50 caliber machine guns. Ever
since Ive been reading about these planes Ive wanted to learn to fly them. Maybe one day I
will.
My favorite football team is the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The first time I went to a game I
was just 10 days old! I've only missed a few games since then due to being out of the city. I go
to every game no matter what the weather: snow, rain, heat waves and high wind. I never miss
the game. Even when Im not at the game I keep up to the plays and score on TSN Go. My
family has season tickets. We are huge CFL fans. Well, except my little sister. She just comes
to sit there and eat the food. Ive seen victory, I've seen defeat and Ive seen draws between us
and the away team. We've won four grey cups in 1966, 1989, 2007 and one at home in 2013. I
bleed green! I love football so much that I started playing touch and flag football when I was 7
years old and then tackle football with Regina Minor Football when I was 10. Currently I have
I love traveling to the Caribbean and around Canada. Ive gone to visit the Yucatan Peninsula
and Mazatlan in Mexico, Varadero and Santa Maria in Cuba and places in British Columbia,
Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec in Canada. I love seeing different parts
of the world and I like to learn about their history, development and culture. I hope to go see
