RE: Alexis Kraft
To Whom It May Concern:
Iam writing this letter in promotion of Alexis Kraft. I have had the opportunity to
work with Ms. Kraft over the past three years; first as her coach on the varsity
badminton team during her sophomore year, and then in the subsequent years as
her teacher in my Honor’s US History class, and then in my Honor’s
Government/Economics class. Additionally, this year, | asked Ms. Kraft to take on
the extended duty of being my Teacher's Assistant.
‘As a student, Ms. Kraft possesses a sense of academic responsibility that shines well
beyond that of her peers. Her work is consistent: intelligently structured, well
founded, and displays an integral awareness of grammatical and stylistic
conventions. When her work is returned with constructive feedback, that feedback
is converted into academic growth as soon as the next assignment. While most of
her cohorts have not yet learned how to prioritize their academics over their social
engagements, Ms. Kraft consistently displays a healthy balance of both ~ she is the
rare student that is universally liked by her teachers and her classmates. This may
seem like a mundane trait, but the value of her successful duality as both a student
and an adolescent should not be understated, especially within our modern
academic climate.
Ms. Kraft will be successful in every endeavor she choses. She has an innate
understanding of what people need from her, and consistently performs beyond
that expectation.
Ifyou have further questions regarding Ms. Kraft’s suitability for your institution,
please feel free to contact me at jrichards@wusd.org.
