1 Applicable scope
This Procedures is applicable to the repair and maintenance of Addis Ababa RTT-1000 type road-rail
vehicles.

3 Maintenance models
For Mobile Car Lifting Jack, the periodical maintenance system shall be implemented. The repair
classification is divided into monthly inspection and yearly inspection, which shall be implemented by
equipment maintenance personnel.

4 Safety precautions

4.1 During monthly inspection, it shall be repaired and monitored at least by 1 personnel respectively;
during yearly inspection, it shall be repaired by 3 personnel and monitored by 1 personnel
respectively and shall strictly abide by the Procedures. Operators shall be properly trained and
shall hold qualification to operate this equipment.
4.2
4.2 Operators shall wear work clothes, work shoes, work caps and other labor protection appliances as
required. Do not wear loose clothes. During operation, self-control and mutual control shall be done
properly.

4.3 When there is no footboard above the track, it is forbidden to step over the track for operation.

4.4 When checking the top of hoist column, hook up the railing ladder firmly, which shall be monitored
by a specially-assigned personnel.
4.5
Hydraulic car
4.5 When moving and putting off the car lifting jack, two personnel shall work cooperatively and calling
respond shall be done properly. It is not allowed to get close to or touch the rotating members;
hydraulic car shall move and drop down slowly. No rapid landing shall be allowed.

5.1 Before operation, assign personnel in charge of the operation, and shall go to DCC sales point and
can enter the workplace once approved.
5.2
5.2 Before operation, check the equipment area and clear the obstacles and keep people without fixed
duties away and make the relevant security measures properly.
5.3
5.3 Before operation, check and test the equipment status under electrified. After that, disconnect the
main circuit breakers of various main and auxiliary control cabinets, and hang a No Operation
sign besides the operating switch of power cabinet. Disconnect the power combination switches on
the right side of main and auxiliary control cabinets and the main circuit breakers inside the
cabinets, and remove the control key to start the main control cabinet system, which shall be kept
by the personnel in charge of the operation.
