What Is Title IX?

- A law that protects female athletes from discrimination in


public schools .

- If Title IX is not implemented in a public school, they can be


stripped of their government funding.

- A school can implement Title IX into their school three ways,


proportionality, progress, and satisfied interests.

- Yes, according to these graphs we are in compliance with
Title IX.
- We implement the proportionality aspect of Title IX in
our school system.

- Club sports are played by more


experienced and serious athletes
- Recreational sports are played during
school and are usually not as serious
compared to club sports. Club sports are
also played year round.

How it supports Title IX:

The ratio of female students to male students matches,


almost exactly, with the ratio of male athletes to female
athletes
