Chinese tile matching game similar to poker

Dealing and drawing
All players roll a dice, and the person with the highest roll
is the dealer
Dealer rolls the dice again, deciding which pile to take
from, and the dices number from the left is the amount
of tiles before you part the wall and start drawing

Each player, starting from the dealer going counter
clockwise, draws 4 tiles at a time, until each player has 16
tiles, then the dealer draws one more
Replace the bonus tiles with tiles at the end of the last
wall, until there arent any left, and after that, the last tile
on the wall is flipped over, and can be used as a wild card

Dealer starts the game by discarding one, then each
player starts their turn by drawing and ends their turn by
discarding

Players win by having one of the following tile patterns
(111 is a group of 3 exact same tiles, 123 is 3 tiles of the
same suit in ascending order, and 11 is a group of 2 exact
same tiles)

Rules
Players can steal a discarded tile at any point if they can use it
to complete a 3 of a kind, when this happens, the player calls
peng (chi when on their turn), then they have to reveal that
specific run
Experiences Playing
I really enjoyed playing this game in class, and I liked that it
was both competitive and collegial, which meant we could
socialize while playing.
Ill probably play this game more often, especially with school
friends, than I did before I played it in Mandarin class

Mahjong can be played inventively as well
