1 Verify circuit description / identification is correct.

2 Check rating of circuit MCB correct to Distribution Board schedule.

3 Carry out point to point verification, earth loop resistance check to last
fitting.
4 Measure circuit insulation resistance. ( 250v test on circuit to earth
only ).
5 Energise circuit and confirm all luminaries are functioning correctly.

6 Check for satisfactory illumination of area and alignment of floodlights.

7 Where applicable, verify that opening lens cover isolates the luminaire
supply.
8 Measure and compare circuit current against MCB rating and load
schedule.
9 Carry out earth loop impedance test at circuit extremities and at
random points in the circuit.

Battery Checks
10 Verify battery management system is operating correctly.

11 Verify batteries have been on constant charge for manufacturers

minimum period.
12 Isolate mains supply and verify battery fittings achieve minimum
duration ( Ref Note 1 )
13 Confirm ambient temperature during discharge test is as Vendor
documentation.
14 Re-energise circuit and verify all luminaries are functioning correctly.

15 Verify battery management LEDs healthy after 30 hour period.

16 Compile red line drawing changes where applicable.
