Collision control establishes clearance values and instructs the toolpath how to move the
tool to avoid a collision. A single strategy is usually all that is needed, however you have

Use this page to establish the tool clearance parameters for your multiaxis toolpath. Tool
clearances apply a cylindrical offset to the tool shaft, arbor, and holder for collision

Surface Radius Based Feed Rate Optimization page

Use this page to adjust the toolpath's feed rate based on the curvature of the surface.
Advanced feed rate control parameters allow you to specify up to four feed rate
adjustments for curvatures ranging from a sharp corner to a flat surface. The surface
curvature is determined at the tool contact point for every position in the toolpath. A linear
interpolation is applied for values that fall within ranges. Click the field definitions tab for
further details.
Clearance Area page
Select the Wireframe, Surface/Solid, Tool Box, or Custom App. toolpath family.

Select any toolpath with the exception of Electrode.

Use this page to establish the clearance area parameters for your multiaxis toolpath.
Clearance area settings are used to provide a location for tool retraction at a rapid feed
rate. The location is defined by a shape such as a cylinder or sphere, or by a plane. Click

Use this page to enter the X, Y, and Z coordinates of a point or direction vector. The select
button returns you to the graphics window to select a point or a line. The coordinates are
entered into the fields to define the location or direction.

Use this page to establish the corner rounding values for your multiaxis toolpath. Round
corners creates fillets in small, concave radii as well as sharp inner corners. The radius
created is the tool radius plus the stock to leave. The Additional radius value on the
page provides a place to increase the created radius even further.

Use this page to enter the X, Y, and Z coordinates of the endpoints of a line. Enter the
values directly or use the select button to return to the graphics window to select the line.
The first column defines the endpoint of the line based on the chaining direction. The
second column defines the start point of the selected line.
