The Prophet

(On Love)

Almitra was a seeress who first sought and believed in Almustafa when he had been in

the city since he parted from his ship. Before he leaves, Almitra requested him, as a prophet of

God, to speak to them of Love.

Almustafa personified Love as he. When love beckons to you follow him, though his

ways are hard and steep. To love is to sacrifice. Loving has different ways and is shown in

several forms. One should not limit himself loving from afar. You should be able to face the

challenges and obstacles as you go along the process of loving someone. Loving someone is to

trust and to believe in them fully. Love gives joy as well as sorrow. It may be for your growth so

is for your pruning. Love is not a shallow feeling you have to someone or for yourself. It is a

tender emotion that caresses your being even the deepest part of yourself your heart and your

soul. If you truly loved someone, you would have set him free.

This is the love that is not selfish the one that gives all to you. It maximizes your

potential as a person. It is the love which brings you closer to God. Love can do anything,

everything. You may know or not know it but it is all in the name of Love. However, if you just

seek loves peace and pleasure because you are afraid, therell be no sense at all.

The topic On Love in the poem The Prophet speak to us of Love. It takes all aspects of

love what it ca give and do to us. Love all in all is independent. It is not possessed nor does it

possess.

I am in the heart of God. It should be what well have to say when we love. Love for

ones self and to others especially to the Lord. Our God.
