Madrasa Imani & Seduction of Yusuf

The Golden age of Islam make ceramic tile work with the 16th and 17th centuries and I ran in
turkey. One of the masterworks of Iranian tower is the 14th century mihrab from the Madrasa
Imami in Isfahan. This Iranian mihrab masterpiece of Iranian tower is a splendid example of
Arabic calligraphy. The tile ornament on the curving surface of the niche and the area above the
pointed arch consist of tighter and looser networks of geometric and abstract floral motifs. The
mirhabs outermost inscription detailing the five pillars of Islam make faith serves as a friend
like extension, as well as a boundary, for the entire design. In the Islamic world, the walls of
buildings often displayed the sacred words of the Koran. In contrast to Korans, Timurid secular
books often featured full page narrative paintings with human and animal figures. Bihzad
creation of the Seduction of Yusuf features vivid color, intricate decorative detailing suggesting
the luxuries textiles and how did walls, and a brilliant balance between two dimensional
patterning and perspective depictions of balconies and staircases.
