In this evidence you are going to read an article about the way people around
the world spend their vacations. Then you have to do a description about the
way people spend their vacations in your country and answer the questions.

Vacations around the world

Vacation time is a very important part in the life of all people in the world.
People from different cultures spend their vacations in different ways. The
number of vacation days ranges from 10 to 30, being the Europeans such as
Germans, French and Swede the luckiest for having 30 days of vacations; the
Latin American countries with a big number of vacation days are Brazil, Panama
and Peru with 25 days. The unluckiest country is China having just 10 days and
being vacations not mandatory. Taking into account this aspect, people can
decide what to do and how to enjoy their vacations. Lets see what people from
Germany, Brazil and China say about their future vacations.

What are you going to do in your next vacations?

I want to visit some friends all along
Europe. First, Im going to France to
visit my friend Jan Pierre in Lion, Im
staying for a couple of weeks there.
Then I would like to go to Italy to visit
my cousin Florentina, Im going to
Venice with her. Finally, I want to go

Well Im planning to go to Rio and
spend a week there, I have my
girlfriend there and we are meeting
the first week. Then I want to know
Colombia. I havent been there and
my friend told me is a great
destination. Finally I am staying
home and rest for the last week

1. Which aspects do you think play an important role in deciding what to do

on vacations?

I think the most important to decide what to do on vacation, aspects is to

organize my time, I must decide if I spend time with my family, or if you
need a break alone, money also plays a very important role in the
holidays, I check my budget to know where I can go and do.

2. What do people like to do the most on their vacations?

I think what he likes people on vacation, it is to take several days off work
to rest and spend time with his family, also discovering new places and
travel around their country or outside.
 3. Which plan do you like the most and why?

I like more to go to the sea, because I live in Colombia and has wonderful
beaches where I can enjoy my family, when I can not go the way I disfrutanto in
Cali with my friends and family.

C. Write a short paragraph about how is the vacation time in your country.
Include information such as the typical number of days a person gets for
vacations, the most common activities people do, and the famous places
people visit. / Escriba un prrafo corto acerca de cmo son las vacaciones

personas hacen, y los sitios famosos que la gente visita.

In my country Colombia, in general people at work have 15 days holiday,

the most representative places to enjoy a vacation is, Cartagena, Santa
Marta, San Andres, as they have beautiful beaches, a lot of sports, and lots
of food, I live in the city of Santiago De Cali, he has a cheerful culture and is
called the Sucursal Del Cielo, where you can enjoy good music and
dancing.
