ABSTRACT
ThecolourfastnesspropertiesoftheflowerofCordiaSebestenadyedonsilkwerestudiedusingcombinationofmordantssuchasmyrobolan:nickel
sulphate,myrobolan: aluminium sulphate, myrobolan: potassium dichromate, myrobolan: ferrous sulphate, myrobolan:stannous chloride in the
ratioof1:3,1:1,3:1.Thewashing,rubbing,lightandperspirationfastnessofthedyedsampleswasalsoevaluated,givingfairtoexcellentfastness
grades.
