Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used to measure the melting temperature and evaluate the crystallinity of polymer samples. Samples weighing 4-5 mg were heated from -60 to 100 degrees Celsius at a rate of 10 degrees Celsius per minute. The crystallinity fraction of each sample was calculated based on an enthalpy of fusion value of 139.5J/g for 100% crystalline PCL. The DSC results included the melting point, onset temperature, offset temperature, enthalpy, and calculated crystallinity for each sample.
