Dear Parent or Guardian,

I am excited to announce that LCPs Seventh Grade scholars will be taking a

field trip to Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University Thursday, May 4,
2017. This field trip is open to all 7th grade scholars and attendance is
strongly encouraged.

Our scholars natural sense of wonder will be engaged as history,

archaeology, and art come alive in the galleries of the Carlos Museum.
Docent-led tours of the collections are designed to meet Common Core and
Georgia Performance Standards, providing an opportunity for students to
interact directly with cultures of the world through art.

When: Thursday, May 4, 2017

Time: 10:oo a.m. 2:00 p.m.
Cost: $13.00
Where: Emory University 571 South Kilgo Cir NE, Atlanta, GA 30322
What to Wear: Students are to wear their LCP uniform shirt with jeans
Lunch: Scholars will be provided lunch by the school. They will also have
the opportunity to purchase food from Emorys campus.

By signing, I acknowledge that I will not seek to have Latin College Prep held liable in the event that any
