ABSTRAK

Kajian tindakan ini dijalankan untuk mengukur keberkesanan kaedah COMATCH


bagi meningkatkan daya ingatan murid tentang kegunaan alatan tangan
matapelajaran Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi. Kajian melibatkan seramai 10 orang
murid kelas tahun 5 Sekolah Kebangsaan Temenggong Abdul Rahman 2, Johor
Bahru,Johor. Pengajaran dan pembelajaran secara berpusatkan guru telah
dilaksanakan dahulu dan selepas seminggu, diikuti dengan penggunaan kaedah
permainan COMATCH. Data telah dikumpulkan menggunakan borang ujian pra,
borang ujian pasca, borang temu bual, borang pemerhatian dan borang soal selidik.
Dapatan kajian memperlihatkan peningkatan pencapaian murid selepas
penggunaan kaedah COMATCH. Keseluruhan hasil analisis data menunjukkan
bahawa kaedah COMATCH ini berkesan dalam meningkatkan daya ingatan
kepada murid berkaitan dengan nama dan fungsi alatan tangan. Kajian ini
mencadangan penggunaan COMATCH untuk digunakan dalam tajuk-tajuk lain
yang terdapat dalam sukatan pelajaran Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi tahun 5 seperti
Teknologi Pertanian dan seterusnya.
ABSTRACT

This action research was implemented in order to enhance my teaching practice to


overcome the pupils problems to improve their memories about hand tools and its
function in short time. There were 10 pupils were chosen from standard 5 Waja,
Sekolah Kebangsaan Temenggong Abdul Rahman 2,Johor Bahru, Johor. The use of
COMATCH game method was implemented to the participants as a medium to help
them improve their memories about hand tools and its function in short time. The
data was collected through pre-test, post-test, observation, and also interviews were
also used in gathering information and responses from the participants. Results
shown that there were positive changes seen among participants after they had
managed to improve their memories and understands after using this material.
Additionally, the findings also show that this study successfully achieved its
objectives and answered both question in the survey. I hope that this study will be
continud in the future by applying COMATCH game in the order field or subjects. In
addition to improve its usefulness to suit the topic and its contents to be conveyed.
