To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Andrea Ayala. I have
known Andrea for 3-1/2 years and she has proven to be focused, hard-working, responsible,
organized, and regularly contributes to class discussions and activities. Further, she is diligent
about completing assignments beyond expectations, and seeks help and guidance when needed.
Additionally, she is honest, helps her classmates, and is highly sensitive to the needs of her peers.

Andrea is pursuing her academic goals and living Nova Academys ESLRs as a lifelong learner.
Andrea has taken and passed four Advance Placement classes, on the Principals List and Honor
Roll with a 4.16 GPA, the recipient of the Soaring Eagle Award honoring her academic
achievements citizenship, positive attitude and ability to work with her peers. Additionally,
Andrea is on track to graduate this June.

While Andrea continues her studies to receive her high school diploma, she has also attended
Santa Ana Community College completing five classes (Counseling 116, Psychology, Human
Development, Photography and Spanish) and University of California, Irvine completing one
class (Principles of Social Science). Andrea plans to attend college after high school majoring in
Liberal Studies and Education in order to become a teacher.

Andrea is a highly motivated individual. For example, she is currently the ASB President and
actively involved in the Ambassador Program at Nova, coordinating events and acting as a guide
for guests. Andrea is also actively involved in The College Initiative, a college and career prep
program. She is also involved with the Fashion Club and Saint Joseph Church as a youth leader.
Additionally, while attending high school and taking college courses, she has volunteered several
hours at several non-profit organizations such as Nova Academy and Lowell Elementary School,
working with first graders as a teachers aide.

Andrea will be an asset to any organization and institution and I am very proud of her
perseverance and dedication to excellence.
